Pakoštane vacations is a family story that has lasted for more than 30 years. We started with two apartments in a family house, and thanks to the hospitality, dedicated work, quality service and guests who return to us, we now offer 9 accommodation units. We like to welcome guests with the products of our family farm. Being hosts makes us very happy because in that way we can share with people all the beautiful things we enjoy, how we live and want to live.
We also like to travel and during that time try out local authentic food, enjoy time with friends and try to spend as much time as possible in nature. We hike, ride a bike or just walk and pick wild herbs and asparagus among the rocks overlooking the sea.
Pakoštane is a magical place between two water worlds. It is located on a narrow isthmus between the largest freshwater lake in Croatia, Lake Vrana and the Adriatic Sea. The beautiful clear sea and five beaches are an additional reason to come to Pakoštane. Pilatuša, Bužakovina, Punta, Janice 1 and Janice 2 are mostly a combination of sand, gravel and paved part. Most of them also offer accompanying facilities such as pedal boats, banana boats, jetsky and water parks.
In the immediate vicinity of Pakoštane there are four national parks (Kornati, Krka, Paklenica and Plitvice Lakes) and two nature parks (Telašćica and Vrana Lake). And there are organized day trips to these sites from Pakoštane itself. Pakoštane is located halfway between Zadar and Šibenik, and Split is not far. There you can see what UNESCO considered worth protecting.
Pakoštane is not only an attractive place in summer when it is full of laughter, music and enticing aromas of local delicacies. If, in addition to swimming, you also enjoy exploring nature, historical sites, cycling or hiking, then Pakoštane is especially interesting in other seasons, not just in summer. The reason for this is the mild climate and good weather most of the year.
And for those with a refined taste, Pakoštane offers traditional dishes, a rich selection of our wines and brandies, olive oil, homemade cheeses and daily fresh fish.
